Every colour, counted and celebrated
On the noisiest shopping day of the year, we celebrate every colour of who we are, and give learning instead of buying more.
Not a sale, a celebration
Black Friday asks what you can buy. Every Colour Friday asks what you can give.
People sometimes say they do not see colour, and mean it kindly. We would rather see all of it: every name we carry, every story our families brought with them, every voice in the room. Counted, so nobody goes missing. Celebrated, because who we are is something to be proud of.
So for one week, from Monday 23 to Monday 30 November, we are not cutting our prices. Instead, every place bought gives a place to someone else.
Buy a place, give a place
Between Monday 23 and Monday 30 November 2026:
You take a place
On How Truth Travels, Phoenix Rising or The Investigation, at its usual price.
We give a place
On the same course, to someone you name: a colleague, a carer, a student, a friend. It costs them nothing.
You tell us who
Write to support@oxytocin-learning.com with their name and email, within 14 days of your purchase. We send them their place and tell them it came from you.
We are giving up to 50 places in all, one for each place bought, in the order they come in. When all 50 are given, we will say so on this page.

The song: Every Colour
A young person and a parent, from the phone screen to the kitchen table, meeting in the chorus. About two minutes.
Our words. The music and the voices were made with music and voice tools, not sung by people.
Read the words
Intro, the young person, close and quietScreen says buy, screen says now,
countdown flashing, I don't know how
to tell you what I really need.
Put the phone down. Sit with me.
Verse 1, the young personGroup chat buzzing, someone laughed,
I didn't say it, I just watched.
Typed a message, deleted it twice,
thought you'd tell me "just be nice".
But you're in the doorway, kettle on,
asking me where the day has gone.
Not a lecture, not a fix,
just "what happened?", and you sit.
Chorus, bothEvery colour, counted and celebrated,
every name we carry, every story we've created.
Not a sale, not a screen, not a price on who we are,
it's the music in the kitchen and the light from every star.
Every colour, every voice in the room,
we don't need another thing, we just need more of you.
Every colour, counted and celebrated,
every colour, every one of us, celebrated.
Verse 2, the parentI grew up hearing "keep your head down",
quiet in the classroom, quiet in the town.
Now you're asking where our name began,
so I'm telling you the story, all I can.
Your grandmother's jollof, my father's song,
the hands that held us, the days were long.
You play me yours, I'll play you mine,
we'll swap our music, line by line.
Chorus, bothEvery colour, counted and celebrated,
every name we carry, every story we've created.
Not a sale, not a screen, not a price on who we are,
it's the music in the kitchen and the light from every star.
Bridge, call and responseYoung person: You listened to the end.
Parent: You told me, and I'm glad.
Young person: You didn't try to fix it.
Parent: I asked you what you had.
Both: Thirty seconds, then a whole night through,
the best thing I was given this Friday was you.
Final chorus, both, everything inEvery colour, counted and celebrated,
every name we carry, every story we've created.
Not a sale, not a screen, not a price on who we are,
it's the music in the kitchen and the light from every star.
Every colour, every voice in the room,
we don't need another thing, we just need more of you.
Every colour, counted and celebrated,
every colour, every one of us, celebrated.
Outro, spoken, the parent, warmEvery Colour Friday. Give a place, not a parcel.
