interactive online learning
Interactive engagement with materials in each of the online lessons. Also providing opportunities for you to engage with others online who are also participating in Oxytocin-Learning programmes or forums. We have prioritised enabling multiple ways of communicating with your fellow Oxytocin learners as you embrace your journey of discovery.
learning materials based on research, theory and lived experience
Oxytocin-Learning staff have carefully selected learning materials which stimulate, engage, nurture and encourage your curiosity of mind, the healing of your spirit, the embracing of your lived experience and equip you with the tools to further enhance your life as you face life’s challenges. Many of these resources are from the wealth of knowledge, and lived expertise, available to us from Black women, and women of colour, across the world.
skills assessments and knowledge checks
Throughout the course each participant is guided to complete the lessons. Each lesson includes assignments and quizzes which assess knowledge and skills gained along the Oxytocin-Learing way. The participant is supported to self evaluate and keep on track within the Oxytocin programme. One-2-one support and group sessions are available to further enhance learning.
evidence based approaches to personal development
Oxytocin courses are informed by worldwide research, data, science, arts and culture and the lived experience of Black women who face racism every day of their lives. Women of colour also feature in the course as we celebrate the learning from cross-cultural lives and viewpoints.
group learning
A key part of Oxytocin-Learning programmes are the connections that can be made between learners in the same course and/or amongst learners. Staff members also facilitate specific group sessions where learners on a course can explore with other participants the key issues, concerns, thoughts, ideas or reflections that may arise. We know that full engagement with the courses material will resonate with the lived experience of participants.
it's all about the life-long learning journey.
